KEEP HEAVEN REJOICING

Personal note from Marty

Thanks for visiting my blog. The commission given by Jesus in the gospels is very clear. "go into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature" I started full time evangelism in 2004. Since then God had opened doors to minister in many nations around the world. From Africa to Australia, Canada to the Caribbean, Pacific islands to Europe. Though many miles separate these places, one thing makes them the same, the need to know the love of God in Christ. Barbara and I have made it our aim to pray and fulfill this calling until Christ returns. We put together this webpage to bless inform and encourage all of our faithful supporters and prayer partners around the world. We especially thank our home church in Tucson, as well as the Kingston Jamaica folks, and the Wonderful congregation in Rotherhithe London. Always pray for our family for continued grace to finish the course.

Understanding The Gosepel Of Jesus

1. Everyone is born into life a sinner; Romans 3:23 "for all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God"

2. Our sins seperate us from a holy God, and condemn us to Eternal death; Romans 6:23 "for the wages of sin is death

3. God loves us all even though we're sinful and disobedient; Romans 5:8 "God proved his love..while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us"

4. If we repent and believe in the finished work of Jesus our Lord, we can be forgiven, and saved from judgement to come Romans 10:9-10,13 "confess..the lord Jesus, and believe..you shall be saved"

Anyone, anywhere, at any time can be saved! Hallelujah! (just ask Jesus)

A Prayer To Be Saved

A Prayer To Be Saved
Jesus, I'm sorry for all my sins. I ask you today to come into my heart, and be my savior. I do believe that you died on the cross in my place, to pay for my sins. Please come into my heart now, and be my personal lord and savior. I trust in your completed work on calvary. Save me, and accept me as a child of God. Amen

We call men like these PILLARS in the church. Faithful, year after year, serving, praying, and helping to establish the saints.

Words of Wisdom I've picked up over the years

One of the most fulfilling things you can do is have meaningful
conversation. Conversation is a part of life. Jesus always talked to people.
Technology is robbing us of this gift of conversation. Conversation can change
people and a home. God has ordained it to be a medium of blessing.

Salvation The Right Way

John 4:42 in the New Testament says this; "now we believe, not because of your saying, for we have heard him ourself, and know that this is indeed the Christ, the savior of the world". This is what I call salvation the right way.

We live in a world where hear-say, gossip, and rumors rule. So much of what shapes peoples thoughts and ideas come from outside sources, which can be flawed, or manipulative. This flawed information has done much harm to the cause of Christ in our world today. For most people our first knowledge of Jesus comes from home, friends, and in some cases the media. Well, all of these can be, and many times are flawed sources. The hard reality of life is, hypocrites live in our own home, friends can be full of unbelief, and the media is dominated by an anti-Christ spirit. So many good intended people get turned off of Jesus before they can even know him. I was flying home recently, beside me on the flight was a guy who's entire understanding of God has been tarnished by all the twisted religious folks he's known over the years. This is sad, but its the reality we live with daily. He never even tried to know the Jesus of the bible.

The above verse in the bible, tells of those who have heard about Jesus from the woman at the well. She's been set free by Jesus and is spreading her joy everywhere. They come and see him and are equally excited about his offer of eternal life. Notice what they said,
"We Believe Because We’ve Heard Him For Ourself”.
This is the right way to come to Jesus. Not because your family is Christian, or because of a relationship you have with a Christian. You must get to know Jesus for yourself. Salvation is a far too important issue to leave to the thoughts and behaviors of others. To many people today are blaming others for their lack of faith and service to God. Any spirituality that does not come through personal revelation, will not last through the realities of life. Is your faith resting in what someone else has said? Is your faith or lack thereof based on how you were brought up? Has someone's violation of your life decreased your faith of service to God. Open your bible, start to pray, seek him personally, and you'll find the joy these folks found, and much more as the wells of salvation yield forth its refreshing flow in these troubled times. Once Christ is yours, nothing can ever take him away from you. Amen

A Short History Of The Carnegie's

Marty and Barbara Carnegie have been in full time ministry since 1987. After coming to Arizona from Maryland (Marty) and Minnesota (Barbara) as enlisted members of the U.S. Air Force they both got saved and met in their Tucson church. They got married in 1982, and had two children; Brittany and Tamara. After some years of discipleship and service to the church, they were launched as Pastors into Kingston Jamaica in 1987. They served there until 1994, when they took over a church in South London, England. That church grew, and began planting churches throughout England and around the world. The Rotherhithe church is a powerful conference center today. The Carnegie's stayed in England until 2004. Marty and Barb then returned to Tucson and answered the much needed call to full time evangelism. Marty travels all over the U.S. and internationally taking the message of hope in Jesus to every culture, race, and tongue.
