Its been a while since I've posted to my blog. Some of those following my blog know that I'm back pastoring again in Atlanta Georgia. Atlanta is one of the most beautiful & kindest cities in America. The folks from the church have received us very well. Barbara and I love the church, and look forward to building on a good foundation. I will be changing the nature of the blog since I'm no longer evangelist. Within a couple of weeks, I'll be posting regularly again. There are so many things to share considering we serve such a great savior. We will also be posting on our church outreach blog, www.atlantaforgiven.com. Barbara and I ask for your prayers here in Georgia, millions of souls here needing Christ. God Bless....Ps M Carnegie

This is Thanksgiving week. Say Thank-you to those who have benefited you. #1 Thanks goes to Jesus. There are three morally important terms that are slowly loosing their meaning. Excuse me, I'm sorry, and Thank-you. Each of these can be said today without much meaning.

Make an extra effort to write, call or message someone to say thanks. It will make someone's day, and it will make you a more thoughtful & spiritual person. Above all, thank God for Jesus and our great salvation. He didn't have to do it, but He did. Thank Him.

I was inspired by this picture. The sculptor has a vision in his head & starts chipping away at everything excess, until what he sees is formed. The pile of stone chips at the bottom, is what had to be removed for the masterpiece to appear.

Hallelujah; This is how God develops us. He chips away all the things in us that are inconsistent with his will, until the mature, obedient child of God appears.

Be encouraged, it may hurt, but Gods at work & beauty is being formed. Keep holding on.

Holiness is the bible word that means "to separate". People don't like the word, because they don't understand it. It's to separate from sinful things & be closer to Godly things.

Holiness isn't personal perfection, its your gift to God &
yourself. Holiness brings you favor from God, credibility as His witness & strength against temptation.

Grace forgives our sins & helps our weakness, but holiness gives us dominion to represent God to our lost world. Pray to live holy, its the missing piece.

The bible declares "THE EARTH IS THE LORDS". Remember, God is not resigning because Romney lost & God is not greater because Obama won.

Jesus remains Lord over America, just like He was last week, and forever will be. The bible is still o
ur governing document, and salvation remains our only hope.

Pray for the president & serve God. Don't let politics discourage or encourage you to much. Let's remain, "one nation under God".

THE FINAL VERDICT

A judges final verdict is usually proclaimed by striking the gavel. The gavel has been struck. God is the final judge & his word is universal law. Gods verdict can't be debated or changed.

Our appeals oriented society, hates final verdicts
. Lawyers wants to argue, politicians want to spin, educators want to discuss, but God has struck the gavel. Jesus said "the word will never pass away".

Once God says its wrong, it doesn't matter who's for it & once God says its right, it doesn't matter who's against it.

Joy in Newport News, Virginia

My last trip covered Virginia, London, and South Africa. I came home tired but full of Joy, at all God had done. Newport News is a great city in the mid atlantic area of Virginia. Pastor Baldwin and his wife Rae are doing a good job bringing gospel hope to a needy area. Its a large militay area. Many young military families with all the needs and pains that are party of military life. I heard some amazing testimonies here of miracles of salvation and deliverance. Souls were saved, and the saints refreshed.

First Service..Bloemfontien South Africa 7 Oct 2012

I arrived in South Africa Sunday. First altar call many came and kneeled to Jesus. It's my 1st time preaching in Bloemfontein. Powerful singing & worship here, we are in for a great week of ministry. Say a prayer for us this week.

Blade Runner

Oscar Pistorius, a double amputee is called "the fastest man on No Legs. He didn't qualify for the 2008 Olympics, but trained 4 years and did race in London 2012. Obstacles can be overcome.

The saying is "whatever don't kill you, makes you
stronger", is only part true. Struggles can make you bitter, hateful, hopeless & even loose Faith.

Life has many disappointments, learn to trust God in all things. Don't just go thru stuff, GROW thru it. Believers are more than conquerors in Christ. Victory is Gods.

I put together this photo grid to make a serious point. Why is it that humans are the only creations of God, that won't stay the way God made them. This inner discontentment & insecurity reveals the spiritual part of mankind, that is empty,
 lonely, hurting & lost.

Separated from God, humanity is searching for purpose, meaning & acceptance. Sadly, the worldly trends & styles fail to deliver. Trusting & serving Jesus our maker & Lord, saves, gives peace and heals the soul. Plus, everything looks & functions so much better, if it stays the way God made it.

When Jesus called Peter out of the boat, he walked on water until he was distracted by his surroundings. It wasn't sin that almost drowned him, it was his inability to stay focused on Jesus. If Satan can't tempt you to sin, he'll try to distract you into loving God less, and wasting time and effort on things that don't matter.

Distracted people hardly ever end well, achieve excellence, develop spiritually or reach their destination.

The problem with so many hobbies, sports, techno gadgets & entertainment is not sin, but the potential to be a distraction. Distraction may not be sin, but in the end it can, and many times does lead to compromise & unfaithfulness, which ultimately divert us from Gods will for our lives. It's a subtle trap, stay focused, faithful and live for God.

Apple Valley/Colton California

Here are a few pictures from the meetings in Apple Valley and Colton California. Both revivals were really good times in Gods presence. The congregation in Apple Valley is very young. The people are very friendly there, they really worked overtime to make me feel welcomed. Ps Paul was excited to see backsliders as well as a few converts crying out to God. The Colton church as many know, is a regular stop on my yearly schedule. I love the saints there like our own home church. Again, we saw people answer the invitation to be saved, and some were also backsliders. Its a real season of grace right now for the backslider to come home to Jesus. Its been the thing I've seen most in the last three reveival. Pray that God would keep bringing them home.

Saved....

I witnessed a real miracle today. A lady apologized to her friend after months of bitterness because of some gossip. The apology was accepted, and the friends rejoiced & acted as if nothing had ever happened. It was beautiful to behold God
at work.

This is Gods way of fixing broken hearts & healing relationships. Complaining, crying, worrying & stressing, has never fixed one problem. But Gods way: praying, repenting, apologizing & forgiving, fixes everything. All things suceed, when done Gods Way.
