This was my first ever visit to the city of Brisbane, in the state of QueensLand. Its a beautiful city right along the coast. Pastor Peter & Kerri Field are building an exciting, faithful church here. Ps Field and his family have been friends to me for years, and each place he's pastored, God's favor has been on them. The church here is truly multi-cultural. I met folks from places I'd never heard of in the Pacific Islands. People from many backgrounds all lifting up Jesus.

One thing that stood out to me in Brisbane, was the visitors. Many kept saying it was their 1st time visiting the church. Others came by invitation of friends, but God set it all up, and we watched souls come to God each night. On the final night, Ps Field reported 20 filled with the Holy Ghost.

As you can see from the pictures, the last day of revival, was also a national holiday, AUSTRALIA DAY. This would be like our 4th of July. Everyone came showing their patriotic side. We celebrated Jesus and Australia. It was such a refreshing atmosphere. I felt so good, I'm going to try and get back..same time next year.

Las Vegas New Mexico, is a city full of history and wonder. Revival meetings have always been outstanding here, and this time was the same, with more added. I was so moved by the amount of visitors from the city came to the meetings. After years of faithful ministry, this small mountain town is still yielding fruit for God. There was not one night that people didn't get saved. The saints here just kept wanting more of the word. Even after years of knowing Christ, the fire still burns for God among these wonderful people.

It was my birthday on the last night of revival. So many times I'm away from home preaching during my birthday, but each time I'm blessed to be with friends. Sis Patsy and the church saints put together a fellowship for the Trujillo's relocation to Denver, and my Birthday, we had a great time. Its a great testimony to see all the new faces in the church. God is still moving greatly for the Rubi's in Las Vegas.

Consider...The Inner Man

I've been attending the Bible Conference this week. During one of the services, I sat next to a young man who was really on fire for God. We spoke and I could sense his very real passion for Jesus. He said he was 30 year old and he'd been a christian for 13 years, and spoke highly of his pastor and his church.

My spirit was just a bit troubled though because of the way he carried himself. I'm in no way trying to question his relationship with God, but this observation is worthy of consideration. He had his cap on backwards, his trousers were sagging and he walked in a rocking motion with his shoes untied. His extra long belt was dragging the ground. I couldn't figure out the belt since his trousers were hanging so low. The brother was praising God, yet he was imitating a gangsta rap crew. The inconvenient truth is this; we do become like whatever we worship. The bible does challenge us to be "conformed to the image of Christ" and again "be transformed by the renewing of your mind".

Lets just praise Jesus?

He seemed to be a good brother with a good spirit, yet untaught and un-challenged in his personal christian development (discipleship). Becoming gangsta for a performance to reach the lost is one thing, but living it daily after 13 years with Jesus is troubling. I have always believed and taught that a healthy society is one where people act and dress their age, as an example to those coming behind them. I know that clothes don't determine ones salvation, but things like this can speak of maturity, growth, and even sanctification. Our culture is image driven. Its a sign of the emptiness that sin breeds into us all. Jesus on the inside should bring security and satisfaction and healing. Our world needs to see a christian community thats free and at peace with Christ.

Jesus did teach us that, the inner man is more crucial than the outward man, and that what's on the inside will manifest outwardly. The Holy Spirit through salvation helps us address deep, hidden, inner issues, and sins, so we can be free. Lets not simply paint over, or dress up, and portray an image. Let Jesus live and work on the inside through the word of God. I still remember the truth of that old song, "Jesus on the inside, working on the outside". Something to consider.

I joined the Upper Darby, PA Church for their annual New Years Revival and Fellowship. I encouraged the saints on the final night, to let 2012 be a year of walking in Gods blessings. The sermon was..get in position for the blessing of God to fall. It was good praying with new souls. Imagine having New Years as a spiritual birthday.

The five services were great. Great deliverance, great worship, and hope for the new year. After the service we gathered for a time of fellowship. We enjoyed international cuisine. Old and young saints alike attended, got fired up, and prayed for a fruitful new year.

I was so blessed seeing all the changes to the church building. Ps Overson's vision for the area is real. They have extended the sanctuary and decorated the building in anticipation of all that God will do. We prayed, God..fill the church with hungry souls this year. Its already began.

These two posts generated a lot of positive response, so I decided to put them up on the blog for those who might not follow the social networks.

Face changes in 2012 day by day. Change 1 thing first. A mile starts with 1 step, A million starts with 1 cent. Change starts with 1 choice.

Each New Year means 365 new days to serve God. Remember, changing the date on the calendar won't make it a happy new year, but new choices will. Without a new you, this year will just be an extension of 2011. Do at least one new thing this year, if nothing else, draw closer to God. Welcome to 2012, Happy New You.

My last meetings before Christmas break was with The Lighthouse in Santa Monica, and Hesperia California. Everyone was in full Christmas mode. The Holy Spirit came into the services and brought conviction and hope, that Christmas really is about redeeming lost humanity. All of the services were filled with Joy. Quite a few visitors came to Jesus during the Hesperia meetings. I encouraged the saints in both locations about the Wonderful name of Jesus. My message brought home the truth that, the child born in the manger has been given a name that either inspires worship or anger. These are a few snapshots of the services.

Each year after Christmas many gifts end up; unused, unwanted, exchanged or discarded. I've always said, "the best gifts are the ones you can actually use". The greatest gift ever given, was not purchased in a department store, professionally wrapped, or placed under a tree. Though not appealing to the world at large, this gift is one you can use everyday for the rest of your life. Its the gift that never stops giving. Jesus, God's give to the world. John 3:16.

Jesus is so good. I had a good time with Ps Chase and the Raleigh congregation. I saw God do everything from save the sinner, to reclaim the backslider. I saw joy come into peoples lives, and saw hope being restored. It was a great week of revival. The young lady in the photo above is Courtney Pigford. I was so excited to see the new building in Raleigh. They moved further south in the city to a bigger facility. The saints are still putting it together, and are full of vision for what God will do. Each night the attendance was great. A number of people answered the call to receive Christ. I was moved a few of the evenings to get reports from people of how God had used the word to free their mind. Its so encouraging to see God visit his people. A good way to describe the services would be; many were coming in and backsliders were coming home.

Anyone can tell you about the Tuesday night service when the Spirit came in and took over. The ladies sang and as they were singing we felt God. The congregation was on fire, after the message that night many were refreshed and ready for battle. That was the night 9 yr old MacKenzie showed me she had been taking notes on the sermon. Imagine our country, if all kids loved the word like this. Thank God for parents raising their kids in church.

This was my third year preaching in Safford, its becoming on of the places I look forward to visiting. The church is warm, friendly, and very responsive to the gospel. The meetings this year had a very personal feel. People who knew the church and backsliders came out. This revealed Gods faithfulness. The responses were joyful and many powerful things took place in peoples hearts. I watched as many came forward to rededicate themselves to Gods purpose, get prayer for direction and healing.

Not Easy Going to Hell

A very troubled man visited church last night. He had been drinking a bit and we could tell he was hurting. He came to the service for help, yet he wouldn't respond to God or let us pray for him.

I realized, going to hell is not easy. You have to fight the love of God, survive the drawing of the Spirit, ignore the bible, resist many prayers, silence your conscience, deny powerful testimonies, block out conviction, and refuse a gospel of great mercy.

In light of God's great love, it takes a lot of work to be lost. Why do people fight? Surrender.

One of the unknown jewels of the African continent is the Nation of Namibia. Steve and Shirley Anderson Pioneered the church here years ago. Namibia gets its name from the Huge beautiful Namib desert along the western coast. As I arrived into Namibia, We drove to Swakopmund along the coast for a one night revival. With little preparation, about 150 visitors came and 117 answered the altar call for salvation. The altar was so packed, there was no room to move. God showed his power in that service. The next two days we held seminars for the pastors and their wives, to refresh and encourage them in the ministry.

The revival in the Windhoek church was launched Sunday thru Thursday, it was good, I mean real good. Visitors and backsliders were drawn by the love of Jesus. Each altar call saw people come forward and profess Jesus as Lord. The saints in Windhoek know how to invite Gods presence into a service. One night during the worship they sang "hallelujah" so wonderfully, I was moved. I actually filmed them singing and posted it on YouTube under "Marty Carnegie in Windhoek". The congregation responded so powerfully to the preaching, I knew it was the timing of God. In total over 450 people answered invitations to Christ on this trip to South Africa and Namibia.

I was so surprised one evening as I walked out of the church and saw peopled lined up outside waiting for a seat. So many were coming, the ushers had to hold people up until they could set up chairs and then let them file in. God is moving in Windhoek. The Ajala's did a great job building on the pioneer foundation and establishing this church. Today under Pastor Setson's leadership they are building their own church, scheduled to open sometime next year.

My two week Africa trip began in Cape Town, South Africa. Its is one of the most naturally beautiful cities in the world. Located right at the tip of the African continent, the next stop south is Antarctica. I preached 7 services here; a marriage class, a mens class, and 5 revival services. I was shocked at Sunday mornings altar call when so many came forward for salvation. I knew God had planned to move. The hunger for God was so real. The worship, the responses, the singing was all so powerful.

The folks at the church were so into revival. Ps Bobby kept speaking about people bringing their friends and family. Many were saved. I met people who remembered me from my visit 11 years ago, some even came and told me they got saved in that previous meeting. It was a joy. I went on Outreach with the church on Saturday and got to pray with people on the streets. During the mens class I met a few of the other local pastors, wonderful men with great vision for God. The same is true of the marriage class, many from other local congregations came and were blessed.

South Africa is a nation going through so many changes, after years of racial struggle. Political struggles, moral and traditional struggles as well. Many evil spirits are working through this time of struggle. The Holy Spirit addressed many of these issues during the revival, and we saw a great breakthrough. Keep the nation is prayer. Our workers in South Africa are fighting and winning a great spiritual war.

David defeats Goliath

Got home from Alaska last night and woke up thinking of the goodness of God. All over the state of Alaska you see the beauty of Gods creation and you feel humbled at his wisdom. I was reading about David's victory over Goliath and got a joyful revelation, "everything God does is not only good, but greater than anything man can do".

Goliath was professionally trained by man, yet he fell to a untrained shepherd boy. When God does something its always better than anything this world can do. Remember I Cor 1:27 in the New Testemant, it says: "God has chosen the foolish, to shame the wise, and the weak to shame the mighty. The scripture tells us that God deliberately brings down mans best, to reveal his glory. It makes you look back an wonder.

The Ark, Gods design

Remember the mighty ship Titanic. They said "it is so well built, not even God could sink it". Well it sank on its first and only voyage killing over 1500 people. The titanic was one of this worlds greatest achievements, yet it failed miserably. Compare the Titanic to Noah's Ark, which was built under instruction from God, by a simple man, with common materials, with no high tech tools. It survived a universal flood storm, and saved humanity. When God does something, its all good.

Solomon never attended one of our Ivy League universities, yet he was the wisest of all, because God gave him wisdom. We all must fight the temptation to love this world and its ways more than God. This sinful world though fancy, flashy, and seductive cannot give you more, or make you better than God can. So many smarter and richer have learned the hard way, what history and the bible makes clear. God is the creator, sustainer, and savior of humanity. Salvation is God's plan for humanity. It may seem strange that a man on a cross would have to die for our sins, but its God way. There is no other way of salvation.

A lot of American cities are beautiful, Denver is right at the top of the list. I preached for a good friend, Pastor Rusty Seals in the city of Aurora an Eastern suburb of Denver. The Holy Spirit really helped us during the week, bringing souls to salvation, and touching many supernaturally. Before revival Pastor Seals said to me, he believed God was going to do something special. Thats exactly what happened during the meetings.

During the first service Pastor said he had a record attendance. I gave the altar call and watched as visitors came to Jesus. This set the tone for what we'd see all week. I saw many young people responding, many sinners and backsliders. Its very hard to put into words the joy that we felt each night. Voices were lifted, hands raised, and tears shed as God touched hearts in response to his word. One brother in the back kept shouting AMEN, some may have felt it was distracting but it was a joy to see his soul on fire.

We also had a time of healing on the Tuesday night and had testimonies of body's touched by the Holy Spirit. The simplest miracles bring so much joy, knowing God is in the midst. After years of preaching, I'm still amazed at how God knows us and knows what we need. So many spoke to me about how certain messages were just what they needed. Faith comes alive when we experience an on time word. We finished off the week by seeing 15 filled with the Holy Spirit. God is building a church in Aurora.

GOD'S AMAZING GRACE

Ephesians 2:8 says, "For by grace are you saved through faith". The Grace of God has always been an amazing truth. Its so far above human understanding, that its hard to grasp at times. Grace gives us sinners hope, but it also gives the weak strength, and those of little ability a means of expression. We describe grace as, God seeing our need, and doing for us whatever he has to, to get that need met. Its Gods favor. When we needed salvation, Grace made it possible. When we needed to be married, grace made it possible. When we needed to become a better spouse, grace made it possible. Its grace that gives single people the ability to remain pure. When we needed to give, grace made it possible. When we fell short of God's righteousness, grace gave us ability to rise up to it. When we see Jesus one day, we'll all praise God for his amazing grace.

The bible says in James 2:10, "if we break the law in one area, you are guilty of breaking it all". That teaches that the law of God demands perfection. That leaves us hopeless without grace. Even the most holy among us falls way short of God's perfection. The gospel declares that Jesus did live up to that perfection, and represents us to God. As believers, we In Christ are received as fulfilling those demands because Jesus did. The law demands perfection, but grace declares perfection in Christ. Again, thats the grace of God.

People are often afraid of grace because it wrestles control out of our hands. We have nothing to boast in, and nothing to be proud of. Grace points hungry souls to Jesus and shows how small we are and how great God is. Grace strips humanity of its power over people, and allows each individual to come to God for forgiveness, strength, restoration, and personal power. This was the message of the protestant reformation. Grace is for you. Receive it, praise God for it, and celebrate it daily. Grace truly is amazing.

SOUTH LONDON CONFERENCE HIGHLITES

October 3-7 was the annual South London Bible Conference. As always is the case, God visited the saints, spoke to us, and increase our vision for the harvest and personal victory in our life. Over 20 churches were represented as part of the Rotherhithe assembly. Ps Ajala started off the conference Monday night with his message about Jail Breaking, delivering a world in bondage.

I was touched by the quality of the ministry coming from the men out of the church. Ps Colin delivered a classic message about having a hole in your gospel. His illustration of a bible with a big hole in it made the point. Ps Jamile also preached a great word about saying yes to God. I watched as these brothers preached with conviction under a great anointing. Every sermon I heard moved me. Ps Kosi's sermon about famine is a must for all Christians.

Right after the morning seminar we had an outreach to Camberwell. It was so powerful seeing all the conference delegates on outreach preaching. Pastor Desmond Bell from France took the microphone and called the nation to repentance. It was great. Night after night the Holy Spirit kept lifting us, and encouraging the fellowship of believers.

It's so refreshing to see all that God is doing in this South London fellowship of churches. From the early days of desperate young converts, God has raised up an army of christian workers now spread across the globe. International churches out of this body are now in; Namibia, Jamaica, Ghana and soon to be in America. Look at what God can do if we'd just say yes.

A word of Liberty

We have been hearing about the earthquakes in the pacific, well God sent another shaking during our revival on the Island of GUAM. As the services started each night, we could see visitors coming in. The praise team did a wonderful job bringing in the presence of Jesus, and God took over. Each invitation was simple, but many came forward. Pastor Cluck said on Sunday alone there were over 30 decisions for Christ. I'm sure we counted over 10 souls each night, which would be about 70 saved for the week. It felt more like a crusade than a revival, God got loose in the place.

One lady testified of being in a car crash, having a spinal injury and pain. After prayer she gave God glory because the pain was gone. Another woman had a stroke which effected her left side. After prayer she was raising her arm, and praising the God of Heaven who touched and healed her. From the platform it seemed as if the entire church was on the altar during the prayer time, it was powerful.

On the final night as is tradition, we prayed for the Holy Spirit. Oh MY....It was like pentecost. Young converts and older saints alike getting a fresh touch from God. I asked for a show of hands, and 40 people lifted their hands saying they were baptised. Pastor Glen and I were in agreement during the week that, revival can fix a lot of things, and do what no man can do. The joy of the Lord has given us strength.

Each year I look forward to my trip to Colton California. If anyone wants Southern hospitality in California, this is the place to be. Pastor Eric and sister Brenda have a great group of folks here, and the don't just talk Jesus, they live for him. I injured my ankle just before arriving, so I wasn't able to move around as normal, but it didn't stop God from moving for us. I was blessed with the responses to the altar calls by visitors. God is doing a great work here in Colton.

Austin Texas has always been one of the cities I enjoy. Pastor Barry and his family are the real deal, and the BBQ here is great. Over the years I've watched the church grow both in number and in Spirit. Gods work here is a testimony, that he is Lord of the harvest.

During the very first service about 10 souls answered the invitation for salvation. Pastor was glad that in that number were a few backsliders. There is always a special joy when a lost sheep comes home. Some really powerful things were taking place on the altar each night. One lady told of an instant deliverance she received on night after prayer, there were also quite a few raised hands that they were healed. I noticed a few visitors who returned night after night, God was truly doing a work inside these folks.

This is why we love revival so much. God visits, touches, delivers, blesses and heals. Just a few services in Gods presence can break a lifetime of bondage. Its also very clear when one comes to Austin that this is Longhorn Country. The University Of Texas is a national powerhouse in NCAA sports, and the fans here are into it. If it wasn't for Jesus, Longhorns would be a religion. Its always a blessing being with the saints in Austin. I always look forward to returning.

I've received lots of questions and comments lately about politicts, especially now that the U.S. political climate has heated up. I'm posting some notes from a message I preached some years ago to clarify the biblical perspective, and the will of God for his church relating to to this topic. Its amazing how this message is so relevant years later.

The scriptures are very clear that, God made us (mankind), and its Gods desire to rule in our lives. Politics is really an idea of man ruling man. Its the science of citizen government, from harsh dictators and monarchy, to elected representatives. God Led his people through Prophets, Priests, and Judges. These men would hear Gods voice and deliver his message to the people. In I Sam 8, the people of God said, "give us a king to rule us as the other nations", God said in verse 7, "they have rejected me from ruling over them". This has been our position up until this present day. A man based government instead God's rule through his Holy Spirit.

God knew what his people didn't know, and what most still don't know today. All men are sinners, the human heart is wicked, and no man will ever do a good job trying to be God. Money and power will always corrupt. In I Sam 8:11-18, God tells the people what their king is capable of (read it). The issue here is not a matter of which political party is best, the issue is the sinful heart of ALL men. Pride(the favorite sin of Satan) is found in all political parties. One side says, "we care more about suffering humanity", thats pride. The other side says, "you don't care about people keeping what they work for", thats also pride. Listen, no one cares that much about anyone, its a posturing to gain votes and keep the power and money one has achieved. Its the same old temptation that was brought to Eve in the garden of Eden, "You can be like God". We need government, but the model is servant leadership as preached and demonstrated by Jesus.

Why do you think the people in the scriptures asked for a king and rejected Gods rule? Its so easy to understand. Man can be bribed, manipulated, blackmailed, seduced, and persuaded...God Can't. Political powers have always throughout history hated, and persecuted, the church because of this one position, The Word of God is final authority. What the bible says about Sin, Drunkards, Sodomy, Abortion, Adultery, Idols, Fornication, Stealing and Hate is still the same today as its always been. We are now in a new era of dismissing the church, and removing its influence from the public square. This is happening through Political correctness and anti-christian legislation.

I think its the highest form of pride to think that a political leader or his party can fix a world broken by sin. Every world leader to date, has tried and failed. Repentance opens our hearts to the Spirit of God, and allows is love, forgiveness, and grace to change us from the inside. Humanity needs Christ. Jesus taught, who you love you won't kill, steal from, rape abuse or lie to. This is call self rule, or Spirit rule. People like this don't need prisons or rehabs, which invite politics. Jesus taught us to give, this is the opposite of scamming, greed, and robbery. Jesus taught us to be faithful to our spouses and families, this protects children and keeps power hungry politicians from stepping in and mandating family issues. The Bible teaches that rules, laws, and mandates are needed for the lawless, but the gospel changes the heart and lifts mankind to a level of sufficiency and grace. Our world has seen every type of politician, now it needs to see men and women of God. Leaders with God in them, humbly obeying and serving with one ambition, to glorify God. Send us that man or woman, and we'll vote them in and pray God will hold them up.

The bible teaches that the world will end in an economic disaster, that will cause humanity in desperation, to turn to a false leader called Anti-Christ. Man's politics and wisdom will fail miserably. Jesus will come and prove once and for all, that God's way is and always has been the right way. Be wise, get on board with Jesus now, and serve him with your life. I Sam 12:25, God says, "if you do wickedly, you will be swept away, YOU and YOUR KING".

HUMANITY NEEDS MORE THAN BRAINS

I was recently reading about a new High Security prison being built and got inspired. All over the world we incarcerated hundreds of thousands of men and women, who for what ever reason can't control their passions for crime, violence, and evil. Its also true that daily many people are powerless to control their appetites for drugs, alcohol, and perversion. It must be painful for God, to see what has become of mankind, made in his image.

The reason this inspired me is because, as a race, humanity has mastered so many things. Think about it; man has created massive ships to master the sea. What about space craft, planes and rockets, that master the sky. Skyscrapers, bridges and motorways have mastered the landscape. Large zoos that have mastered the animal kingdom. Its amazing the things that man has accomplished. Look at our many universities with great programs in science, medicine, engineering, agriculture, chemistry and computers. But with all of this learning and knowledge, humanity CAN'T master the inner man.

Greed has ruined the economy. Selfishness has destroyed families. Lust has caused pain, abuse, and sickness. Alcohol and drugs have killed and maimed millions. Racism and hate has divided many and caused war. IS THERE AN ANSWER?

Gods apostle Paul spoke about this condition in Romans 7:19-25. He said, the things I don't want to do I do, and the things I should do I can't do. The bible says our problem is THIS BODY OF DEATH (SIN), The only answer he says is Christ Jesus. The bible says.."Christ in you the hope of Glory".

Sacramento is the capital city of California. Herb Rubi has been pastoring a church here for a number of years now. Each time I visit to preach it's a good time in the gospel. This revival especially good because we had the Sunday night service in a local park. Visitors came out heard the gospel, and we saw a few in the services during the week. I was blessed with the quality of ministry in the church, and the vision the folks had to bring Christ to their community. Each of the services had a unique feel to it. There was joy, conviction, direction, hope and all the good things the gospel promises. Souls being saved is always the highlite.

I was blessed seeing the folks from Fairfeild come for a couple of the services also. The churches have a real heart to touch all of Northern California with the gospel. God is bringing people into the church from across the country to fulfill his plan for the city. As I spoke to people in the congregation, I could feel the faith that something is happening. This is what we prayed for years ago, for God to raise up local churches, with a heart to make a difference in their city. Sacramento is making it happen, one life at a time. Pray for California's capital city, as they turn to Jesus, may the entire state follow them into the presence of Jesus. Thanks to Sister Katrina for helping me with the photos.

This quick report is from Moreno Valley California. This is one of the churches I get to visit about every 18 months. The saints here are faithful and fruitful, year after year they labor to see increase in their church. God always responds to hearts that are tender and open to his purpose. This revival was proof that God hears prayer and blesses our efforts.

We had a very great revival. I preached five services along with Sunday school, and each night people came forward to receive Jesus. I saw God touching folks very personally and powerfully. One sister sent me a message that she committed to quit smoking. Another guy was so touched by the Holy Spirit, that he was still wiping his eyes after the service ended. The altars were full in response to the messages preached. It was a joy.

I saw many folks taking notes during the preaching, a great sign in this generation. Something good is taking place in this congregation. Thank God for the dedication of the Mejiia's. Lets all pray for this church and this area of California.

San Diego is without doubt one of the nicest cities in the United States. Its location and climate, draws many visitors each year. Because we have a church planted here, God is also drawing souls to here, not for vacation, but for salvation. Because of building limitations, I only preached four services, but it was a joy seeing what God did.

On my flight into San Diego, the plane I was on was carrying the U.S. Honor Flag. Its the U.S. Flag the flew over the world trade center in New York after the 9-11 terror attacks. This flag goes around the U.S. for special events of Honor. The flag was on the NASA space shuttle for its final mission last month. It was coming to San Diego for a special memorial. Our arrival gate was gate 27, and from there the pilot presented the flag to a police honor guard in a moving ceremony, before they marched through the airport. I was blessed to be there.

From the photos you can see the congregation in San Diego were excited, full of worship, and rejoicing in Gods goodness. I saw quite a few pastors from the local area present. Its so good seeing hungry hearts wanting more of God. Pray for the congregation in San Diego, they are working on getting a new building.

I always enjoy visiting Canada to preach. The people have always been some of the most receptive, and responsive. This trip was no different, the saints were excited, God moved, and we were uplifted. I preached in three different churches on this trip; Scarborough, North York, and Mississuaga. All of these areas are mixed culture areas. Many Asians in Scarborough, lots of West Indians in North York, and a great mix of many in Mississuaga along with a large portion of Indians. God has brought the world here to hear the good news of Christ. What a great place to preach, and eat good food from around the world. The congregations in Scarborough and North York and baby churches launched by Pastor Webb. Both are doing well and growing.

During the Sunday morning service in Mississuaga, there was a wedding. It was the second time this year I started a revival during a wedding. Three visitors came forward to receive Jesus. I told Pastor Webb, I felt something different on this trip. God is answering years of prayers, and we're seeing a real work of the Spirit in Canada. The Webb's were launched out of Tucson the same year My wife and I were launched into Jamaica. All of us in Tucson feel a real connection to the congregations in Canada, and we thank God for their labors. What a great fellowship God is building in Canada

REAL MEN SERVE GOD

Which of these images represent a real man. One picture is a group of christian soldiers from an infantry division, praying before a mission. The other is a couch potato brother with chips a coke and a remote control. One picture commands respect, the other cries shame.

Jesus in Matt 7:13-14, said "Enter the narrow gate". Christ explained that the broad way is easy and many follow the easy way into ruin. He also said "the narrow way was difficult". Its so human to want what is easy, but Jesus taught that this frame of mind leads to destruction. Real spirituality chooses the narrow road and serves God.

Judge for yourself, which is harder:

1. Watching two hours of T.V. (or) Reading two hours of the Bible
2. Sleeping until 10:00am (or) Getting up at 5:00am to go to work
3. Cursing your wife when she upsets you (or) bearing the hurt, forgiving her, and blessing her
4. Spending on credit, getting stuff, and suffering later (or) Living within your means, deny self, & save
5. Backslide when things are hard, and complain (or) Hang tough, trust God, and endure hardness
6. Spend money on sporting events with friends (or) Take family to church and give to God
7. Playing for two hours (or) Praying for two hours
8. Following the world (or) Following God
9. Living with doubt (or) Living by Faith

Jesus taught that, the harder choice is the one that connects us to the saving grace of God. It fulfills, gives meaning, establishes honor, develops character, and leads us into everlasting life. REAL MEN SERVE GOD. Which photo best demonstrates your life?

I was so excited about preaching the gospel in France. Anytime you preach for the first time in a place, there is wonder about God will do. The Lord proved to us that he is Lord of the harvest, his wisdom is great, and his grace is mighty to save.

Marseille is an old city in Southern France, with lots of Greek influence. Being close to north Africa, Marseille has lots of muslim immigrants. Christianity has not greatly impacted this part of Europe. Thats why this recent revival is so victorious. It was like the book of Acts in the bible, people heard the good news and wondered can it really be true.

The simple truths of forgiveness, hope, faith, and ressurection moved these folks to salvation. Each night people packed the building, looking for places to sit and hear the gospel. Pastor Desmond asked one night, "where are these people coming from". God was drawing them. One white French lady said, "I have to bring my co-workers, they have to hear". It was so genuine, it was so powerful. During the Altar calls there were 10-12 coming forward each night. One night people surrounded me on every side wanting to pray for salvation.

A few of the people seemed so shocked, that a preacher from so far, could speak of issues so relevant to their life. I explained, this is the presence of the Living God. One night pastor Desmond and I prayed for so many people we couldn't get out of the building. Every few steps we took, more kept saying pray for me too. It was glorious.

I think the years of Atheism and dead orthodoxy has created a real hunger for Jesus. Sin and humanistic answers has left Europe desperate. The gospel is the solution. This is a fire that will catch on and sweep the nation. Pray, the take-back of France has begun.

Thank God for Pastor Warner and Pastor Scribner, along with The Tucson and Santa Monica churches for investing and believing.

The Holy Spirit is moving greatly in England. Most people know that I travel to England more than anywhere else I go. This was my 6th trip this year. I preached revival meetings in Croydon, South London and Leicester, in the Midlands. As you can see from the photos the services were packed out each night. Pastor Clement told me their Thursday night service was a record attendance. God draws the hungry so he can feed them. Loads of souls were saved, and so many filled with the Spirit I couldn't count the amount of hands. Croydon is an exciting church, full of youth and fruitfulness.

The pastor in Leicester is Pat Brick. Pat is also known as "rappin Brick" He still travels and ministers with Rap Music. I preached in this church when it first opened, so I've know many of the saints here for years. There was such and excitement for the meetings. Not only were we blessed by Gods presence and Word, we saw backsliders return to Jesus. The nations are hungry for God, I'm glad he always comes through for his people. I was invited to two different fellowships and I'm telling you....FOOD....They put love into that food, and I received that love by enjoying it.

Vallejo is one of the many cities in the Bay Area of Northern California. Located between San Francisco and Sacramento, its a perfect location for a church to have impact for God. God has assembled a great group of saints here to represent his kingdom. It was very joyful for me to see some of the young men from previous trips now married and establishing families. This was my fourth trip to Vallejo and each time I see God add to the church both souls and strength. The first young man to answer the invitation came each service and on Sunday morning. We felt God working during each service to uplift the saints, crush Satan, and refresh a vision to build his church. Even some of the young folks were answering altar calls. We finished revival with a church picnic in a local park, it was wonderful. What I feel for the Vallejo church is hope. The entire area has been hit hard economically. This effects life in so many ways. But in spite of it, God sent a refreshing word to us, He is still Lord of all.

The word I'd use to describe the revival meetings in West Houston would be "Timely. I enjoy all aspects of God moving, but its so good to get it, feel it, live it at the right time personally. When folks tell how an on time word helped, thats victory. Pastor Gordon one evening started pointing people out to me and telling me their national origin. God is gathering an international assembly here in West Houston. I was drawn to the quality of worship in the church. Strong singing, hands raised, and voices crying out to God. I spoke to Pastor Gordon and told him, I visit lots of churches, and nothing identifies faith, christian life, and service to God like serious worship. We had visitors, we had prayer for salvation and healing, and we had the presence of God. I was so impressed with the men God has given this church. Their faithfulness and dedication was visible from the first day I arrived. The Gordon's are building a good work in Houston. I know they would appreciate our prayers.

During the meetings in Jacksonville Florida, I split the services between two of the churches; The Mayport church pastored by Darren Walker, and the Northside church pastored by Orlando Patterson. Everytime I preach in Jacksonville its exciting and fruitful. Sunday was Fathers Day, so I preached about Knowing Who Your Daddy Is. Many children grow up without a biological dad, but the bible declares that salvation gives us a special privilidge, we cry ABBA FATHER. Both services were great with great responses. The official revival went Monday thru Friday at the Northside congregation. The other area churches came out in a strong show of support. God did everything we expected and more. A number of key people responded for salvation and kept coming thru the week, and well as people getting healing and deliverance. I felt a real surge of dominion during those services. Night after night the converts cried out for help from attitudes and addictions. The Holy Spirit was truly visiting the folks and bringing answers to prayer. For so much of the church world today, services are just business as usual, but God showed up and we were blessed. One lady said to me, it was like this, I prayed about something in the morning, and the message that night brought an answer. This is the power of The Living God. I thank God for the Jacksonville churches and their great testimony. One by one, life by life, God is snatching souls from hells grip, and placing believers into Gods kingdom.

Backfire in Babylon... Tucson Conference Message; 16 June 2011

My conference message on Thursday night was "Backfire in Babylon". Daniel 3:26-30 tells how after the fiery furnace failed to kill the Hebrew boys, king Nebuchadnezzar was forced to acknowledge the one true God of Israel. The Kings plan was to Influence them toward Babylon, but in the end the Hebrew boys faith influenced him, his plan backfired.

Points:

1. As with the Hebrew boys, our call is to influence our generation
2. The battle they faced in Babylon was, who's going to influence who. Our battle today is a battle to see who will influence this generation. Jesus said "you are the salt of the earth". We can win the battle.
3. Its seems as if the powerful media world, entertainment industry, ungodly politicians, and unbelieving university teachers are winning. Nebuchadnezzar thought the same thing until a miracle happened and the backfire occured.
4. The gospel produces miracles; conversions, healings, deliverances, and signs, that forces the world to acknowledge Jesus, and whatever plan Satan had for people...Backfire
5. We don't have the worlds money or its platform..we have something greater, the miracle gospel
6. Preach the gospel, live the gospel. Stay on point, and God will do the rest for us. He did for the Hebrew boys, and influenced and a heathen King.

Chicopee MA, is a small city just outside of Springfield which is home to the national Basketball Hall of Fame. Chicopee is a beautiful town and is home to one of our long time faithful churches. I met a number of saints who have been with the church since its beginning, and are still pressing forward for Jesus. During the first service one of the men gave me a great testimony of being backslid for years. He's now back with Jesus, back in church and moving on for God. Its so exciting to see Satan loose one soul after ruining so many. Most of the gracious comments made to me were about having the fire re-ignited in their soul. People get weary after years of faithful contending. The folks were truly revived.

I'm always used to being treated kindly during revivals, but the Beswick's really made me feel relaxed and welcome. Sister Nancy showed true southern hospitality, even though we were in the Northeast. The word of God was well received each evening, and the altars were full of hungry souls drawing closer to God. We had visitors to the revival from Troy, New York as well as from Cape Cod.

We finished with a prayer for the church, and a new commissioning for the saints. Expect good things in Chicopee. Help us pray for God to shake the city, save the lost, and build again a center for his Spirit to reach across America's Northeast.

When I saw this graphic, I was instantly inspired. Success really does come from many failures. This is not just a good business concept, its the bible. The book of Proverbs 24:16 says, "a just (righteous) man will fall seven times and will rise again. God says here that getting back up identifies the fallen as righteous. WOW. Thats not how most people see it. I'm sure that in todays world and even in todays church, if someone falls seven times, he would not be called a righteous person or a success. I'm almost 100% sure I've heard fallen ones called wicked or evil. Wicked is not what they are when they fall, its what they become when depression, criticism, gossip and branding convinces them that they can't get up.

Real success in secular life and in christianity is not a birth right, its a process. Be saved, love Jesus, read the bible, pray, and when you fall, get back up. Don't live discouraged. Every time Jesus fell to the ground with that cross on his back, he kept getting up. He made it to Calvary, where he became the ultimate SUCCESS. Keep getting up!!

The last time I was in Glasgow was about 10 years ago. A lot has changed in the church since then, a new facility in a new part of the city, lots of new faces, and a new pastor. Excitement was in the air from the first service. The first lady to get saved came every service until the revival ended. Along with her were a number of other visitors who were greatly touched of God. We had some good testimonies during our night of prayer for healing. Iain and Karen an engaged couple in the church set their wedding date for the Sunday of revival. I was so moved to see a young couple who wanted their special day to coincide with revival. It was a grand affair with formal dress and Kilts. As Pastor Pete and I walked through the city of Glasgow, we could feel the Spirit of God wanting the church to claim this place for Gods glory. The people are kind in Scotland, the culture is rich. I enjoyed good fellowship and good food. The Temples are happy to be in Scotland and have faith that God has given them this fine city. I've already set my plans to go back soon.

I've been visiting Liverpool since the early 1990's with Dave and Mariah Ford. This is the best response I've seen in Liverpool. We were so excited to see all the visitors coming to hear from God. I knew right at the first service God was doing something special. It seemed like more and more people kept coming as the revival went on. The two young ladies in the picture Shaadiqa and Danielle received Jesus and attended each service. You can tell be the smiles, they were happy to meet Jesus. One lady got up as I called for bowed heads, came right up and gave her life to Jesus. It was as if God had been preparing people for the revival. One gentleman sat on the front, looking into my eyes as I preached, at the altar call was the first to come for prayer. This was the kind of response we've prayed for in this city. Along with all the new development in the city, God is also doing a fresh work in the church. Liverpool is alive for Jesus. Many of the older saints in the church felt refreshed, and re-challenged. It was truly revival in the purist sense of the word. Lets pray this will spread, just like in days of old. God has shown he can do it.

Second stop on this trip was into Manchester, It is officially England's 2nd city. Manchester is also football country. Home to two of England's premier teams; CITY & UNITED. God has been building his church here since the early days when Jay and Cheryl Nembhard pioneered here. It's always a treat for me to be in Manchester and see the faithful from years ago still winning souls.

Some of the others churches from as far as the Midlands came to join in the revival. I was moved by all of the young men who came. This church now has 3 of its own baby churches in; Bolton, Preston, and Stockport. All of these brought converts to the services to be blessed and to be a blessing. All throughout the weekend I heard good reports of grace touching peoples lives. God has blessed us that we could be a part of his great harvest. Many more hungry souls in Manchester, keep praying.

Jaswinder (JAZ) Kaur

Jaz has been attending our church in Manchester for some months. Jaz is Indian, from a Sikh background. She had a powerful encounter with Jesus, that resulted in her coming to Christ. I met her during the revival, and asked her to write out her testimony for me. Her story is quite long, but the miracle she received is mighty.

She told me, that due to pressures and personal issues she was "in so much darkness" She goes on to say, I wanted to die, and tried to kill myself so many times. I was 15 years old, felt so alone, and depressed. I went to the roof of our flat and jumped off. I just didn't think about it or look down.

Jaz said to me that a member of her family who had gotten saved would always share Jesus with her, but she wouldn't believe the gospel. The day she jumped off the roof she told me, "I saw a big shining cross, and felt the hands of Jesus break the fall and gently set me down". I wasn't dead, I had no pain or broken bones, not one cut or bruise, or blood anywhere. I knew it was Jesus and he was real. That day I found my best friend and my saviour, the hope of my life. I know he saved me so I can share his word. Today Jaz is saved, married and has 3 sons. I asked what message she has for anyone reading this testimony. She said simply, "that everyone would see the light of the living God".

This is Tooting, an area of Wandsworth in South London. It was my first stop on a two week trip. I was searching for the right words to describe the atmosphere during the revival, I thought of Jubilee. There was joy, and freedom during the meetings. The saints here were so excited, and expectant. This kind of faith always brings the hand of God and rivers of mercy. Many were saved. I was so excited to preach, I didn't get all the photos I wanted to. I knew the church worked hard before the revival because so many visitors came. I met and prayed for a lot of youth, teens between 16-20 yrs old. Courtney and Frances are doing an outstanding job pastoring this congregation. There is fruit here that will remain. I was invited to minister for the children's church this past week. Each year the youth are presented an offering challenge. This year its a Jamaica challenge for world evangelism. So I put on the dreadlocks, spoke a little patios, took the offering, and explained a bit about Jamaica and the need there. We shared a few pictures of the island, some of the kids there, and spoke to Pastor Jordan on the phone. Its always fun to help out with the youth. My wife (Barbara) didn't do to bad making the locks out of black yarn.

This revival was in America's 4th largest City; Houston Texas. The six services were filled with excitement, joy, and victory in the Holy Spirit. This is a church that was originally launched out of Tucson, Pioneered by Richard Rubi. God is building a good church in Houston, quite a number of international folks in the congregation. Pastor Rod mentioned a couple of times during the meetings that new faces were coming in. The excitement of the saints drew visitors nightly. The altars were packed each evening as people prayed to break free of baggage and renew their relationships with God. This revival felt like a revival. One of the nights Bro Lamont Melrose got up to take an offering, that night we got two sermons, he preached the offering with power. There was an anointing on the worship, the prayers, the special music, the altar calls, and everything else. On the night we prayed for healing, eleven people responded instantly, saying they felt God's power touch their body. It was truly a time of refreshing. Pastor Rod also introduced me to Pappas BBQ, I'm now a fan for life. The pastors in Houston are claiming it for the gospel, pray them up.

The Way Has Already Been Made

Recorded in Mark 16: 2-5 is a great little portion of the Easter story. Its says that the two Marys and Salome came early on Easter morning to anoint the body of Jesus. In verse 3 they ask the question "who will roll away the stone...for us?" The next verse says, as they approach the tomb, they saw that the stone was already rolled away. An angel of God had come, and moved it beforehand.

They assumed a problem before one exsisted. God knew they were on the way, and had already provided for them. Imagine the unnecessary torment and worry they had thinking they couldn't get the stone removed. Here is a good lesson to remember from Easter. Don't imagine problems that don't exsist, and when problems do arise, know that God sees before we do, and always make a way. Don't worry..trust God.

After a change in my schedule, I preached for 5 services in The great southwest town of Silver City, New Mexico. Silver City is a beautiful mountain town filled with history. The church was pioneered by Larry Beauregard in the early days of church planting, and is currently pastored by Andrew Zamora.

I was so blessed by the display of faithfulness I saw in Silver City. Night after night, the saints and their families came to hear from god and be touched by the Spirit. As we gathered for prayer each morning, I was so moved to see not just the youth, but the older saints up early seeking God. Ms Caroline is 85 years old, she was there each morning at 7:00am asking God to move in the city. Visitors came, souls got saved, people were healed, and God glorified his name. Its always good to see people lifting up Christ after years of service. The church is moving, following on in the spirit of their beloved former Pastor Jesus Vizzerra who went home to glory last year. We all felt a fresh wind of grace visiting the church here. God's promises are still unfolding here.

The final stop on my great Australia adventure was Launceston, Tasmania. Its my second time preaching here, and God was faithful to help us as he did before. Pastor White is full of anticipation of what God has spoken over this Island state. Its was great seeing the visitors come and seek God for their lives. You'll notice in the pictures people with different colors of skin, and various national orgins. This is God bringing the nations to Tasmania. The church has a rock solid foundation in Christ, and carries the testimony of righteousness in the city. I outreached with Pastor White on Saturday and felt the rejection of the local residents. But we see God raising up a church, largely from cultures that don't know God. Pastor White and Maria were great hosts, and are claiming Gods promise..."the heathen for your inheritance".

After six days in Sydney, I flew up to the city of Darwin. Darwin is a tropical city on Australia's north coast. Its a nice town, full of tourist and foreign nationals. I met someone for the first time here from East Timor. Again the people were open and responed well to the word. Pastor Neil is touching this city one life at a time. There is a great group of long time saints here, who have carried the cross for Jesus over the long haul. I was blessed to see so many West African's come to the services and accept Jesus. Darwin is known for its salt water crocodiles. They grow large and are dangerous. You can see Ps Prosser standing next to one that was captured and put on display, so visitors can see just how big they grow. Is this Leviathan?

Sydney Australia is without a doubt one of the most beautiful cities I've been to. Its alive, clean, and full of excited churches. Ps Walsh held a rally for all the area churches on my first night in Australia. Many came and worshiped God, fellowshiped, and listened to the Word of God. I never knew there was such a committed bunch in eastern Australia. I could literally feel the faith of the saints, yearning for direction from God. The praise was great and ushered us right in to what God wanted to do. People from all over the globe are in Sydney. These churches are more than local assemblies, the are world evangelism centers. All the folks I met were overly kind, and responsive. I felt as if I was at the forefront of a new frontier spiritually. Keep this area in prayer, revival is stirring.

I have been visiting Hanover to preach for the last six years. Pastor Jeff O'Brien and his family have become very dear to me. Year after year they continue to be great witnesses for Christ in this community. This revival was like the others, great response from the saints, and a couple of teens got saved. I spoke to the one young lady who prayed and came back. I asked her if she would stay with Jesus, she gave a serious yes, and a big smile. I prayed, "God its worth it for this one", because to God, every soul matters. I also met a new family in the church, who had great things to say about the congregation since joining. God is building a church in Hanover. Pastor Jeff is a man of vision. He spoke to me about great things in store for the future. Lets pray for them.

I had a great week in Killeen Texas. Killeen is home to the nationally famous Fort Hood Army Base. The Killeen church membership has many soldiers and combat veterans from previous battles and recent conflicts. The people are not just fine soldiers, but also fine christians. Pastor James Rosario and his wife Rene have only been pastoring here for a short time, but already God is working wonders. We were so blessed to see visitors coming in nightly. It was a special joy seeing many return night after night, and bringing friends and family with them. Each of the six services we had decisions to recieve salvation. One gentleman and his wife came all the way from Pennsylvania, and rededicated his life to God. Another man told me someone stopped him on the streets, preached to him, invited him to service, and he said, he just knew it was time. There was such a supernatural atmosphere during the meetings. One man who had been backslidden, came and got it right with God, and had a smile for the remainder of the week. Each message seemed like an anointed arrow send to convict, deliver, and save. The older saints of the church truly got refreshed. We ended the week on a high with many being filled with the Holy Spirit. After services people hung around, chatted and enjoyed what God was doing. The Killeen church is making a difference in the city. Pray for God to multiply this fruit many times over.

The Earth is Shaking...Jesus is Coming; 11 March 2011

There has been lots of news about earthquakes lately. Most people would remember the devastating earthquake in Haiti last year that killed over 220,000 people. What about the one in Chile that killed 700, or recently in New Zealand that killed over 75. I got inspired this morning when I woke to the news of the most recent quake in Japan that has triggers those pacific Tsunamis. What many people don't realize is that over the last 10 years, there has been a great increase not just in earthquakes, but in the various places they are happening. In the gospel of Matthew 24:7 Jesus speaks of the last days, and different signs to prepare us. One specific mention is earthquakes in various or "divers" places. Earthquakes alone is nothing unique to this prophesy, but the various places is. Historically earthquakes have been centered in an area of the pacific called the "ring of fire". This area is known for its plate activity. But, as you seen in the picture i've included, just last year alone, earthquakes (represented by the dots) have been moving from their traditional location to various or divers areas around the globe. The geological service has reported thousands of earthquakes in the last couple of years. Many are small and go without notice, but they prove a point. The earth is shaking like never before, in places like never before. This shaking has a prophetic sense to it. The earth is shaking...Jesus is coming.

I opened my file this morning, and observed a few revealing facts about earthquake devastation. The most devastating earthquakes in the last 10 years have a similarity. India 2001; 20,085 killed (hindu/muslim), Iran 2003; 31,000 killed (muslim), Sumatra 2004; 227,898 killed (muslim/pagan), Pakistan 2005, 86,000 killed (muslim), China 2008; 87,587 killed (atheist), Indonesia 2009; 1,117 killed (muslim), Haiti 2010; 222,510 killed (voodoo). None of these countries have a professing Christian majority population. This just an observation, yet significant. As with everything else we are dealing with in the world, the hope is look to Jesus.

This was my first time preaching in Derby. Its an important city in the East Midlands, home to Rolls Royce and the University of Derby. I noticed right away that the city has lots of action. I was pleasantly surprised to see so many teenage visitors coming to church. It felt like the most exciting place to be in the city. Pastor Chiso told me he had record attendances for both Sunday morning and night. Derby is alive with revival fire. One night we had 15 decisions for Jesus...Amen. There was also a good number of people saved from the nation Latvia. One Latvian family is pictured here. After the first conversion, all the family came, and God is now working on both family and friends. So much takes place during a revival, its hard to keep up with the Spirit of God. Because of Derby's prime location, many other Midlands churches came, it truly was a rally of joyful celebration. At the end of revival I counted 36 decisions and 14 filled with the Holy Spirit. Take that Devil....Yeah!!!

Bristol is one of the cities I visit each year. The response this year has been the best I've seen in five years. Pastor Clyde recently moved the church into a larger building to make space for growth. God has been faithful, since that move there has been a fresh wave of revival. Visitors came to all of the services. One night we had a full altar of Eastern Europeans accepting Jesus. As always the praise team really established a great atmosphere for Gods presence. The people were so excited, their faith was reaching out to God, and God moved. With so much of Europe turning away from God, its refreshing to see people still trusting in God and believing he is the way. The church is making a good impact in this city. The disciples are on point, and the testimonies are real.

Just this last week, I've come across three different national surveys, that reveal a dangerous trend. Nationally many people both secular and religious, are accepting the popular belief, that Jesus Christ is not the only way to heaven. David Campbell, an author did a survey for a recent book. He surveyed 3000 protestants, 54% said christianity may not be the only way to heaven. USA Today a major American newspaper, surveyed confessing christians and found that 52% said, eternal life is not exclusive to those accepting Jesus. The last survey was a Pew Research Poll showing 57% of Evangelicals said, many religions can lead to Eternal life.

This is fearful considering the times we are living in. Jesus (the only savior) said in John 14:6, "I am the way, the truth, and the life, no one comes to the father but by me". What is confusing about this? Its clear from the bible that Christ ALONE can bring salvation, which gives eternal life.

Popular culture is pushing an effective, yet deceptive message. Television, movies, the internet, colleges, along with entertainers seem to be getting through, even to church people. For years Holy Ghost preachers have been warning about the dangers of the media and its message. Right now, those forces seem to be winning the battle for the minds of our generation. The christian church must press the real message of Jesus as never before. If you are a part of the church, preach it without compromise. If you are searching, look to Christ not ungodly Hollywood.

When its all over, the truth of God will shine strong. You must be born again. Only Jesus can do that!!

I've posted here a number of pictures from the revival in Fairfield California. We just finished 5 wonderful services, and man was it ever a good time in God. I believe we had visitors to each service, with many coming forward to get saved. So much was happening during the altar calls. It didn't feel like we were conducting the meetings, but it was as if God was moving, and we just held on to see all he would do. A visitor from Santa Rosa gave me a great report of her eye being healed. Another young woman told me she was breaking off an immoral relationship so she could finally give her all to God. Another cried as she said "I spoke in tongues for the first time ever" It was refreshing to watch Jesus draw in and save so many young people. Pastor Ed and I both could feel a strong witness from God, that it really is time for the youth of our nation to turn to salvation. During the week we got to fellowship with saints from other Bay area churches. People from San Francisco, Sacramento, Redwood City, Stockton, and Santa Rosa came to hear from God. One of the nights the church was so full, the ushers were pulling chairs from the back room to help make space for visitors to sit. It was a great atmosphere for ministering the gospel.

Gallup New Mexico is a small yet exciting town right on the edge of the mighty Navajo Nation. One of the main streets in Gallup is the historic U.S. Highway 66. I could tell after the first altar call, we were going to have a good week. It was very cold in Gallup, but the Spirit of God was present and sent his fire. Ps Mammen said to me "they love the word" and it was true. The folks were into the preaching. The altar calls were some of the greatest responses I've seen in the U.S.A. The hunger continued each night after services were done, many came up requesting personal prayer. God gives a good promise to those who hunger and thirst after him. The Gallup church is not a young church, but had a youthful presence and childlike faith. We all enjoyed the Holy Spirit, and for good measure, we enjoyed the best New Mexican food smothered with green chile. God is so good.

One of the recent conference announcements was Pastor Mel Montoya going into the Solomon Islands in the Pacific. Mel is out of the Gallup church. He will be relocating in two weeks, please keep him and his family in prayer.

In the bible I Thes 5:23 says ...may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved...God is telling us clearly what this chart reveals. We, just like God are three in one. Health therefore is more than physical. I was washing my car a few weeks back and got a revelation. I worked so hard cleaning the outside, that I ran out of energy to do the inside. The week before that I had taken it in for a 3000 mile service. The engine was good, the outside was now clean, but the inside was still a mess. Two of the three parts that make up my car were clean and up to date, but one area was undone. It was looking good, but wasn't complete.

The word God uses in this bible verse is "santify you completely". God wants us totally healthy; spirit, soul, and body. It is so easy to fix up the physical, and not be healthy in the soul. Its just as easy to contend for soul health as in right choices and thinking, and not be in touch with the Spirit of God.

Be sure to work on the whole person daily. Try your best not to develop a one dimensional life, or as the old folks used to say, "lopsided". Prayer, worship and meditation feeds the spirit, the bible gives wisdom and direction to the soul, and exercise and healthy eating helps the body. Spiritual things must be contended for, soul issues thought through, and physical dangers avoided. The world focuses on one, but God says be complete.

Its a preserve in the Mojave Desert, where you can find majestic rock formations, and the worlds best variety of Joshua trees. I'll write more in my full report to come.

World Economy In Bible Prophesy; 28 Jan 2011

I've just finished a bible study concerning "bible prophesy and the economy". I got interested after hearing one of our top economist say, the current national debt, and budget deficit are unsustainable. Everybody knows if you spend more than you make, it won't be long before your finances hit the tipping point (a crash). The bible teaches that at the end of the age, when the Anti-Christ rules as Satan on the earth, that his power over the world will be economic Rev 13:17-18. Its only a global economic crash that can consolidate such power to one man.

We need to be aware of how close we are to such as economic collapse. This awareness will inspire us to live a life that matters, and encourage our evangelistic efforts through the church. Every nation on the planet is feeling the pressure of devalued currency, inflation, and outrageous debt. In America the national debt is 14 Trillion dollars. Here is a perspective on how much a trillion is. A million seconds is 12 days, a billion seconds is 31 years, a trillion seconds is 31,688 years. A trillion is a very big number. I read that the interest on our debt is 41 million dollars a day. As you see in the chart I've added, our shortfall is 1.27 trillion for this year alone. This is unsustainable.

To add to this debt problem, we are also facing a global fertility problem. Less people marrying and having children, mean less of a work force, thus less national income. The increased acceptance of same sex marraige means, further relationships that cannot produce children. Add to this the millions of abortions worldwide (60 million alone in the U.S.A. since 1973) and the pool of tax payers continues to shrink.

The Prophets of God have warned of this for years, but with the warning is a glorious hope. We can't stop what God has ordained, but we can prepare. The closer we are to this collapse, just puts us even closer to the coming of Jesus. Our hope can't be in politics, or Big business, our hope is Salvation as preached by the Lord Jesus Christ. This world is not permanent. To love this world and its things, is to miss Gods eternal plan for mankind. The love of money and sin has put this world on a course to collide with God. And as in the bible, God always wins. If you are a child of God, stay close to him. Do your best to clear your debts and save. If you are not a christian, its time now to look up to the cross, where the blood of Jesus still provides mercy to lost humanity. One of my yearly stops on the evangelism trail is Mesa Arizona. The congregation pastored by Richard Romero, has been gracious to me over the years. This years revival probably saw more visitors than I've ever seen in this setting. Its as if God was reaching into the community and drawing folks out to the services. I'd say between 6-8 souls responded each night to receive Jesus. As we moved through the crowd to pray people were falling under the weight of the glory of God. Tuesday night was special, from the first song a heavy grace was in the service. Many were broken before God and saved that night. I posted a picture of Pastor Romero with a group of converts from Iran. During his trip to Malaysia, they saw God move mightily among these precious souls. I shook hands and spoke to many during the revival who were instantly touched and changed by the Holy Spirit. Imagine the joy, coming in lost, defeated, addicted and depressed, and within two hours, leaving the church service saved, full of joy, forgiven, set free. All at no cost to you, because Jesus has paid in full the cost for our salvation. Its not a "first of the year special", the offer of free salvation is always available. God is moving, "thank you Jesus".

The first revival for 2011 was in the great southwest city of Albuquerque. Its an older congregation with a youthful spirit. People responded very well to the word and leading of the Spirit of God. Almost every service someone spoke of "a word right in season". I was moved at least two of the nights as people wept at the altar call, feeling God move them to wholeness. Pastor Chayo told me there are about 10 churches in fellowship in the city. There are many tales in the city of broken homes, shattered dreams, backsliding, and troubles. Pastor Perez is right in the middle of the pain preaching and praying that the city finds help in Jesus. One of the greatest responses was the night I spoke about, "having a new mind". We prayed against cultural, and sinful strongholds, and had a real good breakthrough. Thank God for the Perez family and their heart for this city. Keep lifting them up.

THE COST

The "check engine indicator" came on in my car last month. When I took it in for repairs, the repair shop told me the cost would be $1025.00. After the initial shock, I asked him why it was so costly. The problem he described didn't seem so expensive. He started a lot of technical mechanic talk about a computerized detection system, and exhaust distribution. I said, "just break it down into simple english". He said, most of the newer cars have onboard computers which cause the repair cost to rise. After a while, I got his point. The cost of the repairs, can tell you a lot about the value of the car. Cheap car means cheap repairs, expensive cars means expensive repairs.

The entire human race has been broken by sin. The bible says "there is none righteous, no not one". God didn't fix humanity with therapy. He didn't use angels, or like politicians just throw money at the problem. In I Peter 1:18-19, the scripture says, we were redeemed by the precious blood of Christ. Think about it for just a minute. It cost God the life of his son. What does the cost of fixing humanity say about the value of a soul. Rejoice, God is in love with you.

For the last three years, I've joined with the Upper Darby congregation during their new years celebrations. As before, we had a great weekend of ministry. This was by far the most fruitful. Pastor Jon told me between 13-15 people got saved during the four day revival. As I was on the platform, you could see the visitors coming in each evening. God really wants to break loose here in the U.S.A. Pastor Overson counted 14 nationalities of people in the service on the last night. Thats why I titled this post; Philadelphia International. Though the church is actually in Upper Darby, its just a few blocks to step into Philly. After the new years eve service, we were blessed with food from across the globe. Truly international cuisine. Many of those who prayed came back for more of God, and were filled with the Holy Spirit. The Overson's are doing a great job in Pennsylvania, and need us to pray that God will take claim of the term "united nations" in Upper Darby. I overheard one guy saying to one of the disciples, "I want to join this church". He didn't even realize that when he got saved, he was already born into the church Gods way.

Praise God! Right after Christmas revival kicked off in Glendale AZ with Ps James Martinez. I'm telling you this crowd is excited. The intensity only grew night after night as God was saving souls, and bringing down the fire. It didn't matter how hard the preaching, they wanted more. The baby churches from the area came to support the meetings and provided anointed music. Altars were full, deliverance took place, and God was glorified. The church recently moved into this new building which has potential to hold hundreds. Bro James is speaking faith, that God will fill the building with disciples, and touch the city for God. The Glendale church is in revival, I'm glad I was able to join in and throw some fuel on the fire. I'm realizing how wonderful a time the holidays are for having revival. Many came and were changed.

We had only three days revival in Silver Spring, but Jesus really did a lot in a short time. The Kuti-George's were launched into the D.C. metro area out of the Tucson congregation 5 years ago. Its a great area filled with people from many different nations around the world. Its great watching God build a church in the nations capital from among the nations. Each night the altars were full of saints praying out to Christ. Quite a number came forward to give their hearts to Jesus, and most everyone came to the altar asking for more of God. Bro Philip is blessed to have a number of younger teens serving with him in the congregation. We also saw a few of the pastors from as far away as Hampton Roads Virginia come to the services. What a great testimony to all that God is doing in this area of the country. Washington D.C. is the seat of political power in the U.S. but with the rising of this church a greater power has come to D.C. "the gospel". One by one souls are coming to Jesus, and a new wave of influence has come. Keep them in prayer, this church will help shape what God is doing in the last days.
